The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) implemented by Mirzapur Mirror Private Limited (MMPL) promotes self-employment, enterprise creation, and sustainable livelihoods, especially for women and youth in rural areas.
It aligns with national priorities like Skill Development, Startup Promotion, and Inclusive Growth, helping individuals become successful entrepreneurs.
The Entrepreneurship Development Programme aims to promote employment in economically backward regions by creating action-oriented and learning-based platforms that scale innovative solutions. The programme is being implemented in collaboration with Development Alternatives under a pilot initiative in India.
It specifically reaches out to women and youth who face challenges in accessing enterprise opportunities, including lack of finance, skills, and market exposure.
The programme was conceptualized to address the need for a multi-dimensional and systemic approach to entrepreneurship development—one that not only creates enterprises at scale but also generates dignified and attractive employment opportunities.
Through this initiative, MMPL aims to facilitate the creation of 15000+ jobs through enterprise development across regions including Bhadohi (rural), Mirzapur, Prayagraj, and Chandauli districts in Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
